Padel Tennis has taken the world by storm in recent years.

Coyle’s plans are already taking shape, with planning approval secured for a padel club at his Bridgehead Business Park gym site in Hessle. With two courts already approved and an application submitted for a third, he aims to have the courts open by summer. The padel club will sit alongside the existing TC60 gym, forming the next stage of his TC60 Campus—a space dedicated to fitness, community, and well-being.

“What I want the TC60 Campus to be is the heart of everything we stand for,” Coyle told Hull Live. “With our clubhouse serving good food, the gym offering all its benefits, and the padel club becoming a fun destination where people can come together.”

Padel has seen an explosion in popularity worldwide and is now considered one of the fastest-growing sports. Despite over 500 padel clubs opening across the UK, Hull has yet to fully embrace the trend. That could soon change, with Coyle’s TC60 plans complementing another application submitted by East Coast Padel, proposing three padel courts near National Avenue.

Coyle hopes that introducing outdoor, roofed padel courts at his TC60 gym will provide people with another great way to stay active and connect with others.

“We have a motto at TC60: ‘The purveyors of the good life’,” he explained. “That means living a happy, healthy, and active life—one to be celebrated and enjoyed, and that’s exactly what we’re trying to create.”
