This remarkable sight was none other than Starlink, the satellite constellation launched by SpaceX to provide global internet coverage, and it was spotted by none other than Cody, a curious six-year-old from East Hull.
Armed with his parents’ phone, Cody captured a video of the lights streaming across the sky, looking like a string of pearls moving in perfect formation. The video has since been shared widely, showing the beauty and wonder of space right from Hull’s own backyard. Cody’s quick thinking and keen eye brought a piece of the cosmic world to everyone in Hull!
What is Starlink?
For those new to Starlink, it’s a project by Elon Musk’s SpaceX aimed at creating a satellite network to provide high-speed internet access across the globe, especially in remote and underserved areas.
