Paranormal investigator Kalani Ghost Hunter has made a return visit to Hull, but this time, it wasn’t for the supernatural—it was for the city’s food scene. After first visiting Hull in 2024 to try a famous Hull chip butty, Kalani has now experienced one of the city’s most well-known burger spots, Dope Burger at Hull Trinity Market.

During his visit, Kalani tried the G Lick Burger and Brisket Burger, rating them 9.3 and 9.1 respectively. His high praise highlights the reputation of Dope Burger, which has become a popular choice among Hull locals and visitors alike. Alongside the burgers, Kalani was introduced to Hull’s famous Chip Spice, a signature seasoning that has been a favorite in the city for decades. He paired his chips and Chip Spice with Scotch Bonnet jelly, a combination he enjoyed, and mentioned that he wishes Chip Spice was available everywhere.
Beyond the food, Kalani also appreciated the atmosphere of Trinity Market, which has become a hub for independent food vendors in Hull. The market, housed in the historic Old Town area, offers a mix of street food, artisanal goods, and a lively setting that continues to attract both locals and visitors.
With his latest trip to Hull focused on its food culture, Kalani’s visit to Dope Burger further reinforces its reputation as one of the city’s must-visit spots. Whether he returns to explore more of Hull’s food or its haunted locations remains to be seen, but it’s clear that Hull has left a lasting impression.
