In exciting news for Hull, Coldplay has announced they will be performing two massive concerts at Craven Park next summer! These will be the band’s first-ever shows in Hull, marking a historic moment for music fans in the city. Coldplay will take the stage on 18th and 19th August 2025, before heading to London for six shows at Wembley Stadium.
Hull, along with London, will be the only UK and European cities where Coldplay will perform next year, making these shows a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for local fans.
Half of the tickets for the Hull concerts will be reserved exclusively for local fans living in postcodes HU, YO, DN, and LN. These tickets will be available on Ticketmaster starting Thursday, 26th September at 6pm, with a general sale following on Friday, 27th September at 9am. Pre-sale tickets will also go live on Thursday.
Known for their interactive and immersive performances, Coldplay’s concerts are a spectacle you won’t want to miss. And with their latest album, Moon Music, set to release this October, fans can expect some fresh new material alongside their biggest hits.
As part of their commitment to supporting the UK’s music scene, Coldplay has also announced that 10% of the revenue from both the Hull and Wembley shows will be donated to the Music Venue Trust (MVT). This charity helps grassroots venues and emerging artists across the UK.
MVT CEO Mark Davyd praised Coldplay’s gesture, saying:
“Coldplay are the perfect example of a UK band who came through the grassroots circuit on their way to worldwide stadium-filling success. It’s fantastic to see them giving back to the grassroots venues that supported them and recognising the artists and promoters working hard to build their careers.”
